Alex Barlas

Alex Barlas is a Los Angeles-based actor, writer, and producer whose work spans stage, screen, and experimental theatre. He was nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Play for The Importance of Being Earnest at Antaeus Theatre Company and received a Stage Scene Award for Most Outstanding Performance. A CalArts MFA graduate trained under Deborah Aquila, Barlas has appeared at South Coast Repertory (A Christmas Carol), Antaeus Theatre (The Glass Menagerie, The Importance of Being Earnest), Odyssey Theatre (Ghost), and internationally at Paris’ Nuit Blanche Art Festival with his one-man show The Mirror Is You.
